Max Var images tend to be the cleaned up versions, minimum skins, plug ins etc.
Generally give about 1Mb of extra space in your /var (is it worth it?).

PLi Jade team recommend using Dreamup as opposed to Flashwizard on their Maxvar image.

Me personally I wouldn't bother changing my image unless there was a significant improvement over the previous one.

The extra space in a maxvar image is not because it's cleaned out, it's because the flash sizes have been changed to allow more room in /var and less room in the rest of the image. This gives more room for plugins and extras that you might want to add to the image.

Because it's a maxvar image, you need to flash it with dreamup and a null modem cable because the flash sizes are different. If you are flashing a normal image over the top of a maxvar image, you again need to use dreamup because the flash size is different. If you are flashing a maxvar over a maxvar then you can use any method to flash the box because the flash sizes will be the same.

Like Zaf said, he doesn't have any more info on the image, so there's no point in asking for any. If you like neutrino, give it a go and let us know what you think.

Donnie did you try it out ?

I might give it a whirl - also will try out Neutrino.DREAM Plus v2.03 (currently using ultra) to see if any different.

My current image (ultra 0.9) has very poor video quality (dim and not as sharp as enigma). Surprised no one else has complained about it.

I would do mate but my box has seen enough flashes to last a lifetime.

Plus i dont have a jtag cable if all goes pear shaped.
