dreambox 500c help plz

hi ive just got me old dreambox 500c from me mums shes gone aboroad so i reflashed usin dreamup and old back up image done all the right way flash erase do no etc flash succefull so normally i just atomatic scan thru bruteforce leave it on sky sports1 hey presto comes on it hasent only fta channnels work so so i tried different image dk v1.1 us in dreamup done exact same way but its got fast scan on now no bruteforce just all areas so rescanned for my area liverpool only just get fta channels again were am my goin wrong i havent flashed this box since it went off in 2008 any help ill be made up ppl cheers

add the magic files

You need to get the magic files and FTP them over to the appropriate folders on the box.

Bruteforce scan is on that image it is just at the bottom of the list of areas.

When you go into service searching just press up instead of down on the list and you will see it.

ive done what u said of the above i flashed usin null modem cable so how do u ftp the magic files sorry to be a pain
