    This doesn't make sense.

What are you trying to do and what is the problem?

File mode is for movies and recorded programs. It's set to only look for mpeg or mp3 files. It won't show any other files.

If you want to look at the filesystem, use the Tuxbox Commander plugin, accessable via the blue button.

Ah ok thanks for explaining, I did see them in there earlier. So how come when adding the K*ys and rescanning I am picking up no more channels than before ;(

Key files don't affect what you pick up with a scan. The key files allow you to view premium channels that you would normally need to pay for.

If you are missing channels from a scan then it's usually down to a signal issue, either too strong or too weak.

If you are getting the channel but it only displays a blank screen then that is a key issue.

Please be specific and offer as much detail as possible.

Ok lets see I have done this from another thread

Delete everything from /var/keys and /var/scce.
Download the files from RapidShare: Easy Filehosting
Copy the contents of the keys folder to /var/keys
Copy the contents of the scce folder to /var/scce
              Go to Sky sports 1
Press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now
Wait when it reboots for a few mins
              And nothing but blank screen....
All files are where they should be ( I believe) even read the Key Text and they are listed on there so completely confused as to why nothing is happening.

I have also pressed info for the 3 seconds and restarted Evocamd 2.12...waited and nowt

ETA for anyone else who might be struggling

After reading this i understood that i had to put the files ending in .bin into the scce folder and then bobs your uncle and fannys your Aunt

The rom files will end with .bin. It's probably a good idea to put them in /var/keys and /var/scce to be safe.

              All other files, i.e. Keylist.txt, Autoroll.key, camd_cfg, Softcam.key, Autoupdate.key, etc. these go in the /var/keys folder.

Once you've got the files in the right folders, go to sky sports 1 then restart the EMU....there's usually an option in the blue button menu. Give it a few minutes and see if it auto updates the keys and the channels should come on.
Other Keys I had tried had 2 folders one for Keys and one for Scce, the download in link above doesnt so just put everything in /vsr/keys and then .bin in the var/scce folder...

              Cheers
