my DM500C can't work.

Hi,

I just bought a DM500C and when i plug it onto my tv, the screen shows a picture for 2 secs and then it turns blank(black screen), 2secs later, the picture shows up again. This goes on and on...

I tried to press the menu button but no response. All buttons tried not to no avail. What next? Is my set spoilt? or do i have to config it? If yes, how?

Hope someone can advice. Thanks.

did you get it from china?, which image are u using? try the latest DK image in the downloads m8, theres a good guide for getting it up and running also.

Can't use dreamup. It states: connection prepared, now switch on the drambox. When i power up, waited for minutes but still the same. Why?

Try a diffrent com port.

Make sure use network is unticked.

Download this.

Has everthing you need for the dreambox.

Open DCC Connect to box.

Then flash the image through flashwizard.
