hi, i'm a little confuse of what to do now... my current DM500c blank screen for all the channels except local ones. so do i require to use flashfxp to transfer the backup.img? or do i use dreamup? some say Manuel key in the the keys by the remote?

Hi, I have been reading through this thread and find it very useful. I have got the ftp working for my 500C, but I am not sure where to paste the files. Image are preloaded and channels list still good. I haven't have problems for a long time till 2 days ago when SH seem to have done some changes. I have been using the card in picture and it seem to does autoroll. I have been trying to edit the keys files, but I saw non that I can identify with (The new keys parameters and my current does not match).

Can anyone help me with this? The seller MIA and another requested for 60 bucks just to reset my box. I thought the price was exorbitant and I could top up a few more bucks for new box.

Attached are the images of my files in the box and my card which does not work anymore.

I find this forum to be realli good!!

Unfortunately I am still super new to all these! I have tried the dreambox 500 previously from my friend. Its great for SG...but I am not so sure how long this will last till the authority steps in.

Anyway, I noted that this 500 version is not sharp for a 42" tv...I have seen Dreambox having other HD box version...Can SG use the HD box instead for Sharper picture content? (perhaps improve in picture quality sharpness but not necessary be HD program)
