    Scanning on a 7025

Hi - this is my first post. So, hello to all and if anyone does, thanks for the help.

I have a 7025 which now for some reason will not scan - ive narrowed it down to the frequency - if i scan with the frequency ive always used (443) i get just 10 channels (im in the 6952 area). So, it seems to be dependant on that. If i change that value i either get no channels or just a few....so, does anyone know the magic frequency?? been randomly trying for a couple of weeks now with no luck. If anyone could put their 2 cents in that'd be great!!

Hi their, goto menu/setup/service searching/manual scan.

Make sure you have tuner on DVB-C and use these settings.

    Frequency : 755
    Inversion : Auto
    Symbol Rate : 6952 ( Old T/west )
    Modulation :64-QAM
    FEC : Auto
    Network Scan : Yes

This should get you the chanels.

You can also try doing a auto scan as well.

    Hope this helps.

You need to add 6952 as an additional sr to your tuner config, and then do an automatic scan. I don't think single frequencies can be relied upon any longer.

Thats it!!! - its scanning - thanks very much - i really was beginning to loose hope then.

This might be best put on as a sticky as i expect im/we're not the only people with 7025's

                Again - thanks very much.
