mgcam freezes evocam won't work

Hi,

I managed to get the channels working but only using mgcam 1.35a all the other cams don't seem to work at all but the mgcamd freezes every few minutes sometimes every few seconds which is really annoying! Any way to fix this or to reinstall evocam? thanks

not 100% but sounds like /var is read only
mgcamd will work because it doesn't write to file until you close it.
try ftp'ing a file to /var if it refuses it then /var is read only and will need to reflash image.

i don't think its that, i have checked the attributes and they are mostly all rw some execute as well.

can ftp to it fine, just checked in case.

Still having this problem, noone any idea how to wipe the cams and start again with them, not eh whole thing just the evocam and mgcamd

I dont think it will be the cams
just download them from the panel
A lot easier to just telnet a working backup image to the box ......Paul
