My DM500c has gone off in Leicestershire, is this the end?

If I transferred to a 500s would that work using my Sky dish ( unsubscribed)

welcome to dk, yes leicester has totally gone to n3, just half a dozen fta channels open. if you were to transfer to a 500s and connected to sly dish you would only recieve the free channels without a sub or cardshare, this is not discussed here at dk in detail so you would need to google for a solution to this. good luck

I thought that might be the answer! So Cable with Db's is useless now unless einstein comes back and cracks n3?

cant see him making a come back just yet dont count out the linux dream cablebox making a come back on cs and yes thats only a guess its nothing that i know about or involved with but i think its best kept to satellite rarther than cable as its already been in operation for some time

cs is (cardshare) its where one person has the subscription card and shares it out to others, as said info on this cant be found here at dk as we dont do it. google however is loaded with the info!
