My first problem (nagrarom7,10,11)

Hi,

The files nagrarom7,10,11 wont upload the the 500c,
they start to send and then after a while it will say file exists already do you want to overwrite, I say yes and it does the same.

The file that exists is only about a third of thie size it should be eg the nagrarom11 file is 32KB but when it says that it already exists the file on the 500c is only 11KB and asks if i want to replace with the 32KB file, etc etc.

Ive tried a couple of FTP progs and the same happens, Ive done a factory reset and the same happens.

I hope someone can help me out with this.

Just delete the already existing roms,then transfer the 'new' roms over.

Ive tried that donnie and it still the same, this is my first dreambox, got it today so there were no roms to start with.

Its like there is a file size limit and it wont go over it.

Strange. Try downloading the dk1 image from this site and flashing it with flash wizard.

Then try putting them over then.

Ive got the rom files to send now.

I disconnected the lan cable and just connected the 500c direct to pc with crossover cable. it now sends the full file across to the box.
