Loads Of Unnamed Channels

i have noticed there are alot of channels that i have saying no data for this service and names of channels ive never heard before example :

Flash 18
Flash 19
Flash 20
Flash 21
Flash 22
Flash Service

ETV S19
ETV S20
ETV S21
ETV S22

BTV Service 01
BTV Service 02
BTV Service 03
BTV Service 04
BTV Service 05

BTV Service 10

BTV Service 12
BTV Service 13
BTV Service 14
BTV Service 15

Any idea what these channels are for and why they are there just taking up alot of space and dont even work has any1 else got these to

The flash channels are the firmware updates for cable company boxes.

The DTV channels are things like interactive channels that we have no control over.

The channels you see are test channels etc.

If you dont like what you see use dreambox edit to remove them.

How do i edit my dreambox is it threw ftp,dreamup or can you do it mannual?

Press OK > RED

Scroll to channel you don't want, press MENU > Delete

Or you can use a program called DreamboxEdit to remove them on your PC.

i've tried to delete channels as you said through the remote, but when i restart my dreambox they reappear.

i think it will be better removing off pc as when you delete it, it comes up again.

no idea mate but most of them a service channels that you cannot view and some that are copy of 1 of the other channels thats all.

NVOD channels are things like TV OnDemand, Red Hot Nightly, etc.

The dreambox will pick up loads of stuff that doesn't get shown on a normal box. You generally don't get any more channels because of it and most of them are test channels and engineering channels, etc.
