ppv help

hello,

I got blackbox with Pli Jade (latest ) image. when I go into a ppv channel, it says press red. but when i press red nothing happens.

can anyone provide some insight for this.

do you mean on the tv screen ie television x ect when it says press the red button now to view

if so you wont get any response by pressing red

yes that excatly what I meant.

but i am certain before this ppv change I was able to view every channel.

I am thinking may be my red button is not configured correctly. can it be anything else.
normally i think after pressing the red button i should be given a numeric number. but without getting any response from Red button i want have this number!

only boxes with talkback (vermin stb) can utilise the red button. we who choose not to use vermins boxes lose this ability (but what we gain outweighs this )

if you are after the soft~~~~ channels some of these run a channel which just has a screen saying press the red button to view blah blah

of the top of my head these are adult channel,tel x,spice extreme but these channels are there to watch as well just have a look around

ie i have 2 adult channels one called adult channel nightly this only displays a screen and does nothing

the other has adult channel programs all night

its the same with the others


the only thing the red button does for me is record its like shady above said the red button is an interactive button which requires the use of talkback to the service provider

now in the future if sports channels change the mode to ppv what will happen?

it happens now with wrestling and boxing you can still watch it mines on the live events channel


but you wont see anything until the run up to it
