Flash another box

I want to Falsh Dk image 1.1 for my bros box its a dbox2 can i use my rooter coxial virgin cable etc to set his box will it effect my dreambox? If i flash his using my cable n rooter etc and then giving it back to him to put in his yard and then put my dreambox in again.

No it wont. The router will pick up your box again with its assigned ip address.

so it will work i can set his box up to and then put my box back in and he could take his away cos his got same cable etc

Dont think the dk image works on the dbox2 though.


What dbox is it you got. 1 or 2 chipset?

all i know is that it is a nokia dbox2 so guessing its 2.
