Free view only??????

Hi
I've set my my DM500 in a new property after being off line for some time...... all I am able to view is freeview channels...... what do I need to do to get back up and running

You wont get the channels. Nagra 3 the new encryption is being implemented all over the UK.

There is no crack fix or modification for this. You will have to pay for TV now.

wont be for long m8 as cgscott says its been rolling out all over the uk your friend mite have them the now but soon hell lose them unless hes on satelite

Sat is not plug and play like cable. You will need to do a bit of reading to understand whats involved.

Have a read in the sat section lots of info.

If you are 2 miles away and your friend has all the channels then you might be able to get them. Download an image and magic files and transfer them onto your box then scan.
