how to make a back up image

Can some one tell me hw to make a back up image or hw to take a working image from a dm500 and put it onto a new dm500 for my kids room. Please help..............

this is how I backup and flash images
note trasnfer image in ftp program backup.img

In addition to the excelent methods given above, you have a very simple tool called Flashwizard.

It will cover all your backup/installtion of enigma1 recievers.
Just click and go.

it came with image but you need to add in keys n rom.
