yes it does say that but it doesnt say got 50 channels back on n3 cause i hacked it does it

It has to be a simulcast !

This is when a provider is running both Encryptions N2 / N3 on two platform such as Cable and Microwave /MMDS in some cases a cable signal feeds transmitter stations on hilltops for areas that can not be reached by cable.

A dreambox is capable of distinguishing two signals and Encryption from one provider but this will not last long once the MMDS transmitter and Users are switched over to N3.

Your just in a lucky area thats all... It will not last...

i did not think they had mmds in uk only irl,also did not think they had n2 either only n1 and yes they are doing a lot of movement of channels so always have the latest firmware and a fresh scan from direct feed only gives you more chance of getting channels back,usually when n3 arrives movies and asian channels are first to go.

chill out cloudnine mark was just reporting back to the forum that he still had channels up and running in an n3 area thats all. he never stated nor claimed he had found a fix for nag 3 nor was he giving folks false hope he was just reporting the facts and wanting to know how come he still had some channels.

Seems virmin are having problems with N3 in your location and are running N2 and N3 until they can sort the problem out. Who knows how long this will be so enjoy while you can.

virgin just testing by using old encryption same time as n3. enjoy it while you can but they will be gone very soon. I'd recoomend jumping to sat and just using cardsharing.

Im in Edinburgh also and iv got the same channels back apart from SS1 and Sky comedy, all iv done to my box was service searching almost daily, got up and turned tv on and had channels back, iv a dream 500 and i know a lot of other Edinburgh folk have also recovered channels also on Dbox
