lost ITV2 DM500C

Hi all
got an annoying problem.Forsome reason ITV2 has stopped working.The EPG still works for it but when the channel is selected it is just a blank screen.I,ve done a full rescan and it found another ITV2 but this does,nt work either.it does,nt even have an EPG for that matter.
I Have a dbox2 on the same feed down stairs and that works fine.I know its a crap channel anyway but the other half likes to watch it in bed..!!!
Any ideas guys..??

Hi uk, have you tried a booster on your dreambox, sometimes a cheap ariel booster can be all that is needed to get channels that are showing epg but no picture, Argos do a cheap one for around ?9.

What area are you in?
I'm in Ex CW and my ITV2 stopped working last Thursday.
I get 94% signal strength AG 34% and BER 0

The channel has worked OK for over a Year and then just stopped working???

Maybe it's something the cable company are doing?

HHmmmmmmm......never thought of the signal booster route..!!..saying that though i may try the dbox 2 from downstairs on the feed that the Dm500's on and see if this works.This may disprove the low signal theory..
The Area i'm in is warrington.Which i'm 90% sure is EX CW.

The thing is if you have split the signal upstairs is going to be weaker,trying the dbox may not give a definitive answer as they are different tuners, if it was me I would shell out on a booster ?9 from Argos and if it doesn't work they have a 30 day money back policy

i lost itv2 as well lately, did a rescan and the non-epg version worked, so i just moved it beside the non-working EPG channel - lazy i know, but that's that taken care of.

lost it on my dbox2 as well, so i assume that Virgin were playing.

also lost bravo 2 i think - rescan got him back.

well every one got home from work tonight and thought stuff it i'm going to bite the bullet and go down the reflash the box route...so i downloaded the latest image from the download section and reflashed my box..then ftp'd the keys and roms over rescanned and guess what...????,......It all now works fine.....Happy days.....Thank you every one for your kind help.
