power pack for 500c

had my dreambox for a month now and I am on my 3rd power pack. any ideas whats causing the problem?

iv heard the power packs on the clones arent up to much, but 3 in a short space of time seems harsh.

The 1A units are shit...you want a 3A at least.

There is one here but not sure what amp it is.
