Fixed. For anyone having the same problem, you need to change the defaulf file paths in dreamboxedit from
    "/var/tuxbox/config/enigma"
    to
    "/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable".

This is done by selecting options. The default paths are on the profile tab.

        IP Address

Does anyone know how to find out the IP address of the dreambox, without accessing set up?

This is due to me not knowing the pin code to access set up!!!!

        Any alternatives?

          ?

When FTPing the files provided by Bonesy via dreambox edit, does the dreambox need to be plugged in hence the green light showing?

          Thanks

              FTP Problems

              When trying to FTP Belfast files onto Dreambox I am getting the following error message;

              Connecting to 192.168.1.64.
Could not connect to Dreambox. Check IP Address, network settings and status of Dreambox.

The IP address of the dreambox is 192.168.1.64, I have set PC to 192.168.1.63 although files wont transfer.

              Any suggestions?

Did you get this sorted? My box would do the same then it would work intermittently, try pinging the box from a command prompt, I think the ethernet port on my box wasn't the best and cable would sit at an angle. Also need to use a crossover cable.

id say they ae gone for good m8,either pay for a legit sub or get into the sat side of things, good offers from sky at the moment or you could look into card sharing but you will have to use google to find answers on card sharing as it cant be discussed here

you have weeks left before new cards arrive just do a scan as the only thing thats changed is the channel mapping.

I used a crossover cable as I connected the DB directly to my PC, so that was the only cable I used.
