Basic Info for Dreambox 500 / Virgin Cable

I used to subsribe to Virgin but cancelled earlier this year (loved the broadband but phone call costs were the problem).
I have beed told that the 'feed' into my house is actually still there and it is possible to use it without a virgin TV box.
Is it really a simple process of connecting a Dreambox which will then decode the virgin TV cable signal.

If so, does this also apply to the broadband signal ?

if your feed is live then your box will work even with the broadband feed

Both services are carried through the same cable so yes it would work if it is live as andy said.

Although you are a fair few years behind mate, you should have a look around the forum as it will stop working (or may have already stopped working in your area) eventually.
