Interesting Features available?

Just ordered a clone and I'm wondering as it's linux based whether anyone has any additional features running.

e.g. given a sata drive, can it be used as a media server

Is there spare memory and storage to perhaps run a small htp server?

an oem 500c from dvbmonkey.

I'm interested in the cable hack but would like to take advantage of anything else it has the capacity for.

I wondered if with a suitable sata drive it can double up as a network media server.

when you say sata you mean type of hdd?

are you thinking of streaming? if you are then yes

The 500c has no internal connections for a hard drive.You'll have to install the drive in NAS or a spare computer and then access it over the network.
