got talking to a d*l driver today down at the shops, asked him how do they work out import tax. WAIT FOR THIS..he told me that customs are in there all the time and every package is scanned and it shows whats inside. customs log where they go and keep logging any more going to the same address. so one day the knock on the doo may come. .

mmm I'd be a bit sceptical about that, what he's saying is that they X-Ray every box I can't see it as that would damage god knows how many electronic devices

Customs can carry on and do whatever they want m8---until a law is passed saying that we cannot buy sat/cable boxes from outside EU or we can only buy goverment approved devices then they can go to----you know where.
Free trade is supposed to be encouraged----I buy sat boxes from all over the world and will continue to do so for as long as I can. If I or others have to bow down to Uncle Gordon and his sour band of men then free trade and true democracy is finished.
Also it's not illegal to purchase an item, it's what you do with that item that may be illegal.
            Regards.
