hi people, can anyone tell me what the differences are between dw2.0 and the kaos image. i.e does the kaos image show a few more channels. im not gettin a few channels on dw2.0 even though they are in my epg

Both images should pick up all channels. It is more likely that a poor signal is the reason why your box aint picking everything up. You may require a booster to enhance the signal.
The DK image has a function that allows you to scan for services in your area as opposed to doing a brute force scan although the latter should in theory pick up all channels. Might be worth a try though.
Also try scanning at different times of the day or alternatively see if someone has a services file for your area and load that to your box - check here

Hi bugaloo, thanks for the reply. i have a booster in line now it has slope adj and gain adj. both set to max.. i have just moved house about 10 miles. and was getting all channels at my old house and now some channels wont come on.. would a new image change that...

Possibly mate. Give it a try it will only takes 10 minutes. Remember and backup your current image just in case.Comment
