D500 Save to network from 2 Boxes

Hi Guys,

Was just wondering if I had 2 D500's and configured them both to use the same network share, would both boxes be able to see each others recordings and would I then be able to play back a program that was recorded on box 1 from box 2.

Hope this makes sense.

if you r recording to a Same shared folder on your pc from 2 boxes should be no probs at all to see or play recorded files,just don`t forget to give different ips to both boxes.

Yes I can confirm - I actually have three DBs (2 500s and I 7025) connected up to shared storage. I actually use separate sub-directories because I did not want to confuse myself, but they happily play each other's recordings. I also have my music collection on the 7025 which is accessible to all 3 boxes.
