    Harmony one remote

    Hi!

got my Dreambox working yesterday and love it, big thank you to this forum!

Just wondering if anyone has added the remote as a device to a Harmony one? If so, does Harmony have it in their database or did you manually add the buttons?

When I tried last night, my Harmony didn't seem to want to learn the commands.

    Thanks!!

it does have dreambox 500 in its database, so it should work!
let me know how you get on.
    thanks

i dont have the harmony one but i do have the 885 i think i had to add a couple of buttons manualy but it works great but i find it has a narrower beam than the original remote, so if your not straight on to your box you might have to find the sweet spot to aim at

I have a 525 and have programmed it as a Dreambox 500 and there are a few things that don't seem to work quite right. Is this the type of box you programmed in the logitech software or did you use a different box type. I am hoping you tell me to use a different box type so that I don't have to tune the remote.

Yes working fine for mine but a few little quirks with it, the exit key is the Help button in the LCD on page 2, apart from that all working fine.

I've the 555 model and find it a little quirky. For some reason the remote thinks it needs to set the DM500 to 'Tuner' and this activates the teletext function of the DM500. I need to turn this off, anyone got any ideas?

It's working now, I was having a problem with the IR receiver on the remote, so had to connect it to another PC.

I did have to alter a couple of buttons as the database 500c commands are slightly different to my blackbox remote.
