    DM500 evocamd 2.12 help please

    Hi guys
    My dream box finally arrived today and thanks to the flash guide i have the dk v1.1 image loaded and copied the key and scee folders using ftp to the box ok. My problem is when i start the evocamd 2.12 by holding the info button in for 3 sec's nothing happens(s*y sports 1). I have re read the guides and other threads but cant see why this is? please help releave my head ache

    have also tried the upgrade 2.17c

      Try FTP to the box again, and go to the "keys" folder and copy the file "keylist" onto your desktop, then open it with a text editor and delete all the text/numbers in it so its blank(save it like that), and then FTP it back to the box

          I went outta my head workin on this. i have tried img file for all over the place. I have now flashed it back to dk v1.1 and will try this out fingers toes and everything else crossed. i have read there was a key fix available but i was unable to access the link in the post could that be part of the problem?

              ok I have did a fresh scan after flashing again to img dk v1.1.
              it found 200 odd channels etc however no sky sports 1 this time. It did find sky sports 2 and i held in the info button adn started the evocamd 2.12 but nothing ? seriously have i missed a step. I did check the file and its was blank as you sugested?

              Does it only work with sky sports 1?
              Is there a newer set of key files i should be using instead of the ones in the guide?

              I really am gratefully to all and any help .




              i have used dreamedit and got a channel list for belfast , sky sport 1 is back still nothing ?
              please help save my hair as i am pulling it out !!

                  I have been informed that i live in a n3 area and as of yet there is not image and key files for dreambox 500c yet to work with n3. I am gutted having only bought the box 3 days ago to find i cant use it . has anyone heard of a image in progress or for the future?? pm me

                      People getting scammed. Read up before buying anything that is dodgy in the first place.
                      We should feel sorry for people like yourself but if you know your getting something for free then check up on it first.

                      Also remove you email before you get scammed again

                              E-Bay they are making OK money, depending on what you paid for it. We live and learn I'm always getting caught but if it's only a few quit, I put it down to experience.
