If you were to split the cable so that you had a splitter and than used one end for your broadband and the other for your tv. You could than install a router after your broadband to send the signal wirelessly to your laptop. There is nothing to send your signal wirelessly to a device so that you could watch tv.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you fully but you can send a wireless signal from a tv,video, dreambox, etc using a digisender to another tv in a different location if thats what you mean?

Haven't come across a device that can take the Cable signal and then wirelessly transmit this signal to be picked up by another device and then decoded and connected to a Dreambox or other cable device.
Like the guys say it is possible to decode the signal in its present location to tv or internet and then wirelessly send these signals via either a video sender or a wirless access point.

i have one of these signal transmitter things already...let me word it differently

i wireless router will allow you to recieve the data on your laptop

would it be possible to send the tv data via a wirelss device?

the frequency the data is sent is different from the tv, but sent down the same wire, but the router can detect this..is it possible to change this to send the tv signal only so i could recieve it wirelessly

just a thought, and i recon it could be done

I don't think this technology exists. It's called 'cable tv' for a reason.

You could use the 3 phono out connections on the back of your receiver (if it has them) to send that output wirelessly to another TV?
