Cant unzip image file DK V1.1

This is my first serious post - so be gentle.
Im new to all things Dreambox - but, hey i love a challenge.
Ive got so far and done pretty well thanks to all the wonderful posts on the forums.
Im stuck on a sill bugga thing though - I cannot open the image file DK V1.1 - Ive tried winzip winrar and that Total Commander - No Joy - Please guys - help a poor wee newbie out here.
ive downloaded the idiots guide - and done the rest - cause i think the PLi image on my fiends box is the problem.

I have downloaded the image file from the DK website - when i unzip it, it opens up another zip file with nothing in it - although i get an error message of - it cannot open iso file. and yet the file is over 5meg in size - i aint no numpty when it comes to p.c.s but this has me stumped - cause all i need now is an image and how to transfer it over to Dreambox with Flashfxp...

Most files here are compressed in WinRar format, if so you must 'extract' (right click) the file to your nominated folder using winrar! Hope this helps!

Harky - Thanks pal - i read all 11 pages of posts - everyone seems to be able to load an image except me - as ive said, ive donwloaded the image - it comes down in a zip file - but wheni try to open the zip file i get an iso error message.
I downloaded all other programs, rwad the brilliant Newbies file and still no joy.


Help me if u can - im feeling down.


Also - got a second box - which had an openpli-image on it - it now shows just a black screen and remote wont respond to it - yes i can see it in dream up - Crikey - n i thought women were difficult...............

tomhick - thanks. but i tried that - its downloaded as a zip file within a zip file - so, aint nothing inside the second zip file, even though its proerties show over 5 meg - i get error message within winzip of fault with iso. file.



im stumped

error message is = internal error processing iso image.

Its an '.img' file you need to extract and send it to your box using dreamup or ftp using the guide above. Nothing to do with an iso.

Thanks thomhick - i know it should be an .img file - but i cant get to it - is there anyway this img could be emailed to me instead of trying for a fourth time to download a file i cannot open?

Extracted and uploaded for ya here!

dk_v1.1.img - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

Download it, do a 'save as' and rename it the same but end the name with .img (eg DK11.img)
You should not have any problems from here.

yet again tomhick, i thank u for your time and effort - ive downloade the file, as you instructed - and still the problem persists. i thought it may be because im using windows 7, but, i also tried xp and vista, and i get the same issue.

giving my mate his boxes back
spent far too much time and achieved very little.
