Hissing

Anybody having the problem with the dreambox sound hissing. the louder i turn the volume up the louder it gets.

i have digitalworldz 2.1 image on it have tried all the others it does it with both my boxes

It's a kinda hard one to fix unless you're there listening to it.

Changed scart cable?
Changed TV?
Changed image?
Tried using the 3 phono outputs instead of scart?

I get this if I try to use a scart lead with my box (from peng cheap but bad build quality )

I use the 3 phono's as suggested by Devilfish and the hissing is no longer a problem.

had this problem myself
using the three phono leads will work,
or else a high quality gold plated scart

i tried with 2 sets of phono leads and the hissing was worse, tried a different scart lead and its gone.

thanks everyone been putting up with the hissing for 6 months.
