I have many 500 and setup those ok, but this new 600 just will not talk to net to download, emus etc...when its meant too.

And I will also need the Bouquests, sorted, which is a pain, so if anyone has a backup image they could email me..I would be endebted

right i have you connected the box to net properly have you changed the network settings on the image to work with the pc

have you got a crossover cable to connect to pc

at the end of the day i havent got a 600 so i cant spoonfeed you an image to use someone might but i cant

but at the end of the day you will need to learn how to do this with your image or you will be ~~~~ed next time the roms need changing anyways

so the best bet is to learn how to configure your box

you need dcc or flash xp and a crossover cable to transfer files manually from pc to box if you havent got them you will be ~~~~ed unless someone gives you their image

It took me 3-4 to get my 600 sorted, but was worth the effort in the end.when downloading from PLI i ended up connecting the box to router as I could not get it connecting with the box straight to modem. read some of the threads i posted as i'm sure there will be info there for. I also had trouble FTPing the cam over which is why i persisted with trying to download from the server. Also make sure you put in cable xml file from here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...k-ireland-243/

You need to tell us how you are connected to the network and also show what you have in your network setup configuration. So far all you are doing is telling us you can't connect to the download server.
