    Dreambox Distribution

    Hi to all
I was wondering if someone can offer advice as to how i can 'distribute' my incoming Virgin cable signal to alternate/independant DB500c's? I have a SLxG 6x Aerial Amplifier and was wondering if it is as simple as putting cable feed into UHF socket and spanning off from there?
    Thanks in advance

just get yourself a 2 way splitter mate, and take one feed to which ever room you want it in.

type in splitter on e*bay should be millions on there

normally you will get the whole kit

By purchasing a 2-4 way splitter, would the signal quality be reduced? If so, is there a product to boost signal quality at same time? Many thanks

Every time you split the feed, the signal quality is reduces. This is indicated by the SNR reading on the dreambox, you can find it on the infobar or in the stream info.

It all depends on the feed, some are strong and you can get more splits before it won't work, and some you need the booster before even splitting it.

I have got 3 splits on the one feed and all my boxes are fine.

Some good websites to check out...

Not only has Kenable got the range, it's also got the prices! Every type of cable, all the cabinet accessories you need and a fantastic range of power cables, PDU's and desktop power solutions.
