Playing Movie From PC to Dreambox

Is it possible using dreamview to stream a movie on my pc to watch via the dreambox?

i dont think so m8 i think it needs converting first to a ts file or something like that

then again i know jack so it may be wrong but im sure i read it somewhere before someone will verify it for you

I think I read somewhere that if you set up a mount using the guide on the main page, you can then put a video file within that folder to play back. Worth a try!

Here is how to view your dreambox on your PC over a local Internet
Then you can Copy Films and Programs to you hard drive or watch live streaming Tv by logging to your Dreambox Remotly (In work or on holiday)
It realy very good.

i think he wanted it the other way to view video from his pc on his dreambox not vice versa

u`ll need vlc fronted instaled on ur dreambox and on your pc, check out this thread

get a slingbox m8 , you can watch it anywere you want.i've even got it on me mobile and turn it over.

if you bothered to read your welcome email or the stickies in welcome forum you will see that it take the server about 15mins to update and add download priviliges.
