Giggabites in Expert Setup

i have wondered what the 1GB was for in the expert section just above the infobar timeout and you can change it to a max of 16GB whats this used for?

It is for setting the size of the recording file when you record something to your drive. I normally set mine to 4gb so that I could copy my recording to asingle dvd.
