i checked that site and i dont see the point in paying twice as much for the box just because it's already flashed,there's very little difference in the pound and the euro now,i find the linux box very good and dw2.0 can be found and downloaded very easily.

Use the DK image here and load in the terrestrial xml and roms then scan and your off.
See the stickys and downloads for everything you need,you wont learn if you just buy one pre loaded or maybe thats all you want,but personally i like to get into the workings of the box and the system.Knowledge is power

500t's are a doddle to set up, i have one working fine the last 3 years

flash your box with original dream multimedia image(so its clean) via null cable.......this is not necessary if box is new, but i always do it for a clean install

download DW2.0 image and flash box via ethernet cable

upload terrestrial.xml file to var/etc

upload rom 7,10,11 rom patches to var/keys (if your DW image doesnt have them already installed)

scan...............

and bingo bango............thats it !!

i recommend using evocam 2.12 for mmds, as it works for me perfect everytime

if this is any help im using the new blackbox t with dk image on mmds in kerry c****s working fine there plenty of advice and help here on what to to im still learning but thanks to everyone here im up and running

The Irish site ye a commenting on used to sell boxes flashed up until guy in Galway made the headlines, also they used to advertise that they were flashed. DW2.0
Noticed lately that it does not say that boxes are flashed now!

hi guys , tmontana is spot on dreambox is best box for mmds , i had eurovox tx and digivox t very basic , can do lot more with the dream , put games that keep the kids happy. best box for long term belive me.

Eurovox V needs no updating

the eurovox did need a firmware update when the keyroll method chenged as did all boxes but the dreamboxes were 1 of the 1st back up and running whereas the firmware for the likes of the eurovox-tx,box-t and digivox-t were last to come out

Hello.
Can anyone help me?
I've bought a new Dreambox 500t for chorus MMDS. None of these files are on it like terrestrial.xml, DW2 ect.
Anyone know where to get them?

Think you have been had mate!
Game is up for the 500T in Ireland, Chxxus/NTL released new encryption last year which rendered these boxes useless!
You might be able to go the card sharing route but that discussion isn't allowed here and you will have to find out more on that yourself!
