Is there another way of controlling the 500C without the remote because my remote is dead, I changed the battries and no luck. I flashed box and I?m at the screen where it asked you to chose PAL or NTSC

I am sure that you will need the remote control to set the box up from here, but once its set up you can control your DM500 from the web interface you just add this into your web browser OpenDNS
you need to change the X.X part to whatever your DMs IP address is set to.
