If you hv LCD/Plasma/LED TV, go for DM800HD

If you still using the good old CRT TV, then go for DM500

Get the 500HD

The 500HD is best for value. I would definately go for a HD one, as the older ones won't clear HD channels. The 500HD can be had for ?319 (original not a clone). As one of the earlier posts said, cable is not open, go with a Sat tuner.

I dont understand what it means 'cable is not open'. For sat tuner can receive all channel everywhere??

UK cable is in the process of switching to an encryption scheme (Nagra3) which cannot be bypassed (i.e. no free pay-tv).

In Singapore Sat Dish is not allowed!
Only CableBox so id prefer DM 800 HD.
Im searching for that stuff too, cause im comlpetly new to Singapore.

Will you mail over/hand carry yourself? I heard SG Cus*toms quite on these days... If hand carry, not advisable to take too many sets...
