Sky Channels back on Virgin Media...anyone having problems getting them???

All the Sky Channels such as Sky One, 2 and 3, Sky News, Sports News are all meant to be back on Virgin Media as off today.

Ive just checked my dreambox and the only ones I can see just now are Sky News and Sky Sports News, no sign on Sky One, is anyone else having this problem, and is there a way that I can scan for this channel?

Do a rescan. I have all the channels and i didnt need to scan as previous scan came up as test channels so they al came no probs.

How do I do a scan.....sorry im pretty much a novice at this whole thing

If your using the dk image go into service searching and scan your are mate. Press the menu button.

Try and learn a little bit about your box instead of taking it for granted that it will always work. You've never had a look in any of the menus before? Never looked in the Information menu?

does the scan take quite a while mate....just clicked to start the scan...it says the scan will take 30 minutes or so...does that sound about right?

Hi Devil fish, Ive looked at the menus etc...however Im not all that technical and dont want to do something which might damage the box...hence why im on here trying to learn

You cant damage your box. Have a look through the menus do a transponder scan and you will ge the channels you are looking for.

Dont be scared to play around with your box as it is unbreakable.

The scanning time depends what image you have on the box, 30 mins should be ok. I assume you used the bruteforce option?

yeah i used the brutforce one, the scan is done and now I have quite a few extra channels.....ive had the box now a year and this is the first scan I have done....it also seems to have fixed a freezing problem I have with sky sports 1...so bonus :-)

What is the best way to find which new channels were found after a scan? I can't spot which ones were added in my bouquet list
