    Glasgow Dreambox

    Hi
Someone tells me that the cable company is changing the way it encrypts its channels and soon the dreambox won't have the capability to view any magic channels. Is that true? or will it just be another key update and some bad information being passed about?

    Thanks
    Drew

Currently your cable provider is using an encryption system known as Nagravision Revision 1, they are slowing rolling over to Nagravision Rev 3. Nagravision 3 is much more complex and secure than the current version and currently there is no way of decrypting it without the use of a subscription card.

        So yes, it's true.
