can any1 tell me if an dreambox 500c be used as a satellite box as well as a cable box, with the right image!!!!!

Short answer no, the "C" on the end signifies cable as in it's a cable tuner. The sat version has an "S" on the end signifing a satellite tuner. Hope this helps!
