DM500 password

Help please i was tryin to make a backup of a mates image (500t) but apparently th guy that originally did it for him put in a different password ie root/dreambox and we cant get connected with flash wiz pro but with flash fxp i can connect to box and view files, so is there any way to get password or are we def locked out thanks in advance for any help

try to put username : root

and password : dreambox

thats the default passwords

yea done all that guys, have 2 of my own dreamboxes ican connect to no prob done all the ip/password setup but im gettin msg saying wrong password
im thinkin its prob locked by a trader but ive just been told that universal dreamup v.1.2.2.0 will let me in, ill let u know

Reflash the box with a new image mate..

yes deff a reflash will sort that out and any other password thats been set .
