    Original or Clone?

    Just bought a 2nd hand DM800C. How can I tell if it's an original or clone?

              there is no difference btwn clone and OG.

              The latest clones BL76 sim 2.01 are so good now

                If I put a 'S' tuner in would I need to put it back to scratch and re-flash?

                  i think it will need a few more componants ie resisters and diodes aswell as a sat tuner,maybe you can pick up the mobo and tuner a lot less hassel then just stickin a sat tuner into a cable mobo

                        my bad forgot the tuners are plug n play type
                        yeah you should be able to get a tuner for your dm800
                        they might be about ?30-?50

                          Already have one..problem is that the spacing between input and out puts are difference so the back plate won't fit.

                          Could try it w/out the back plate but not sure what to do to the firmware first?
