    DM600 Connection?????????

    A mate of mine has just got his 600c, been helping him set it up over the phone, he said the cable in point is a push on type not screw on, is this right? I assumed it would be roughly the same as the 500c, any help would be appreciated.

              AFAIK all the dm cable and T range have push in as in aerial input fitting and all the dm satellite range have 'F' connector, thread input.
              But with so many imports/clones around my statement could be wrong.
              But my two clones, 500s and 500c are as stated above.
              @Lyrrad
              Yes there are clone/fake 600's and 800's

                Thanks for that. Could you advise me where to find these fakes, and are they the same kinda deal as the 500c (in other words essentially okay?)

                  Hi
                  They are not easy to spot unfortunatly all you can do it goto one of the suppliers that the guys on the forum recommend and use. You could also ask your supplier outright, clones are nearly always cheaper then the real ones so thats a good guide for you, study prices first, and look for feedback if using Ebay. TBO I think most of the clone boxes especially my dm500s and dm500c are better than the originals.
                  Not sure about DVB Monkey, read some of the posts on here.
