    could not open services file?

    Fatal Error - unable to open services file (after doing a scan)

    Sounds like it's went read-only.

    You'll need to do a factory reset or reflash it if you want to do a scan.

    If you're using the DK image, copy the /var/keys and /var/scce folders to your PC. Also use the servicesbackup feature to backup your services and bouquets before you reflash.

              erm, "fixed it" is in reply to Devilfishes post just above mine (about my editing)

              the problem the OP is actually about was rectified by devilfishes first post in this thread :P

              the first 2 posts in this thread give the problem and the solution to it
