500c or 500s how to tell?

hi all
i just got a replacment board from dvb china factory after four months of waiting having some trouble flashing an image to it was wondering if maybe they have sent me a 500s board instead of 500c i only sent the board back so cant be sure what ive got back
the tuner is an NXP sw22 0913 the error im getting is "error reseting lock bits"
ive tried the erase flash.img and flash erase twice but still the same was wondering if maybe the crc is failing because im flashing a cable image to a sat board?

try using the dk image that works on all c/s or t dreams. its in download section.

all images will work on either cable/sat/terrestrial dreamboxes
press menu/information and check tuner type

cheers for the reply alas the box wont post so cant check the system info for the answer ive looked at pics of the 500c s and t this board has a few subtitle difference's to all of them so im wondering have they sent me a board for some other box my supplier is dvb sellers and the board came from there china factory so i dont think its a clone but it could well be im loth to send it back again as taken so long get here

cheers i did goole it but couldnt find any thing that made any sense to me looks like they have sent me a dodgy board will have to send it back again if i ever get a reply from dvb sellers sending 4 emails a day now with out reply

This box has a better tuner and is an upgraded box to the dreambox 500s

and before you say it aint a dreambox, what is nowadays.

may have better $hit in it than dream clones and work just as good

i aint complaing anyway at price

I noted that DM500S is using QPSK demodulation but DM500C which is closer to the local set up box configuration needs QAM demodulation. Can DM500s be used to download dk image for viewing *hub cable programe in Singapore? .
