DK image on 600 ?

I have a flaky 500C which is, I think, about to die completely. It's running DK V1, loaded with keys etc and (when working) goes great. What with Christmas (and my Birthday!) coming up I'm hoping Santa & the wife will club together and get me a 600. Here's the question, will the DK image work on a 600 ?
Anything different about key installation / cables.xml etc ? Being terribly lazy is it possible to backup 500 completely and transfer to the 600? Also I'll be fitting a drive, just upgraded my (Apple) laptop. Drive currently HFS+ ie Mac format, should I reformat FAT (can't do NTFS) before installing ? Would greatly appreciate any advice.

The DK images won't work on the DM600.

But there's plenty of images for them. Just remember to backup your /var/keys and /var/scce folders from your dm500 as you'll need these to get the dm600 working.

The Dm600 uses a different file structure than the dm500 but I'm sure you'll pick it up no probs.
