dm500c v kryptview 780

hi all,both these boxes have lan connections so how come the kryptview box works on cable when connected to the internet and the dm500c doesnt?

kryptview has the fie to connect to a remote server to obtain the cw's to clear pictures.

dreambox can do this also but no one has yet to managed to dump the rsa key, no rsa key no server for cw's.

What id like to know is how is KV team capable of doing this, are these the only guys that know how this is done or am i missing something,

My understanding is if KV team is doing this right now they must know how it works is this correct or am i way off,

Its just id love to see a few servers appear for dreambox like sat and do you think we will see some soon as its been quite awhile since nag2 has been down,

plenty have done it but anyone with the know how to do it will not be stupid enough to make it public so the traders can run riot again this time like n1 hack

maybe KV are using N1 cards and when the whole of Uk goes N3 all boxes go down.
Anyway ben doing some reading elsewhere and it appears CS nag3 vermin cards is possible its just its not public knowledge.

simple answer = kv ARE using n3 cards as peeps in n3 only areas have boxes running
and cs for cable is and has been possible for some time now, and its not public because theres no one trying to do it

You are right, soz I'm bit pissed at moment.

Anyway should not be that difficult as dont think you need the rsa key just the box key which is very easy to extract from certain boxes. So with a nag 3 card with the boxkey from the box its paired with then job done.

hundreds of thousands of peeps have their boxkeys and they havent managed it
rsa is needed, or at the very least cam_n is needed for pairing, this is well known
whats not well known are the rsa keys

Why not . Surely thats where the server details are held.

and the kv firmware wont have the rsa in it so that would be pointless im afraid

If you had server details you could use a dream etc to log into the server

somehow i doubt they would have allowed a loophole like that
but even if you did manage it, what then ?
your still only a client connected to a server for control words, nothing more
it wouldnt help with getting your own card sorted

Not really a loophole is it. Its got to be in the flash.
If your logging into the KV CS server with dream then job done.
No need for rsa keys boxkeys etc
