I have exactly the same problem as you, worked now almost 2 days on a solution but still it won't move on...did do all the suggestions from other users here too but no results so far...seems like a truly dead box...my last guess the cpu is dead... if anyone has another idea would be much appreciated before it lands in the rubbish bin.

I had exactly the same problem I had to get a working backup off another box and then restore the backup on the new box via DreamUp but donot do a flash erase....

Hello Have You the Programm too Upload the Flash File
unto Your Dreambox?
You Must First connect Your Dreambox with a RS232 Cable
Then Push the Button connect in the Programm.
Have You the Image Dream500C2010.rar ?
This is the Right File for Your Box! ;-)
It`s right when the Programm say The Box Talk with us!
Then you must flash Your Box with this File, duration of this Process are 13 Minutes.
