    dreamup on vista

    hi to all, iv just got a new pc running vista, runs a hell of a lot faster than my old buddy did!, anyone had any joy flashing with dreamup using a usb serial adaptor with vista? as im gona have to get an adaptor as i dont want to open the pc yet to add a 9pin card as i will void the warranty.

    you dont need to add a 9 pin card you just need a header plate with it on as all new motherboards come with a header pin for the backplate a simple plug in the ribon cable an enable in bios

          m8 make sure you buy a good usb adaptor thats vista compatable as i got one that gave me no end of trouble.
          is it a bird?......is it a plane?.....NO ITS MY CHEAP CLONE FROM CHINA GOING OUT THE ~~~~ING WINDOW.

            i had one before, couldnt get it to work then again it was a cheapy, it was also an xp computer.

              i got this one a couple of years ago
              no problems on vista for me

              USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor > Maplin
