FREEVIEW ON DREAMBOX

Can anyone help me ?

Obviously lost all scrambled channels (apart from one or two) but do not get all freeview channels that a normal freeview telly/box can get.
I've re-scanned using bruteforce and cable, but still getting blank screen on basic freeview channels such as itv2 etc.
Do i need to re-flash ? Or restore factory settings ?

The full range of Freeview channels are not available unencrypted on Virgin Media.

What you get is :

BBC1
BBC2
BBC3 / CBBC
BBC4 / CBEEBIES
BBC News
BBC Red Button (ETVS10-16)
ITV
ITV2+1
ITV3+1
ITV4+1
CITV (ITV_hid2)
Channel 4
Channel 4+1
Five
CNBC
(Possibly a few shopping channels)


You miss out on channels such as Film4, More4, E4, Channel One, FiveUSA, Fiver and probably loads of others.

But you have to remember they don't expect people to be using their own equipment to watch via cable.
