My 800HD pvr tuner setup

Hi,

Sorry total noob here!

I got a DM800 pvr from china, but when I tried to search for channels , it didn't find anything, it kept showing xxxxxxkhz FAILED

It has a philips tuner which is detected but I can't do any channel searching!!

I have an old DM500s which is fine and great but no PVR and No HD capabilities,

My question: IS it possible to copy DM500s image using dreamup (or any other software) and flash it back to DM800 HD pvr?

Is it from my LNB?

Do I have to change my LNB to go with DM800HD?

It appears that I got a DM800C version and not DM800S version!!

My mistake

Is there a way to change the tuner in DM800C to work with Satellite channels like DM800S?

Dm 800 freezing

Hi all .I have a dm800 receiver.I am using ccam2.1.4 ,and on hd channels the picture is breaking down and freezing about 15-20 secs.Any help please.

There was a SCART to RCA connector and a RCA cable when you purchase the DM800HD.
