help please with kaos image

been as the channels have all gone i thought sod it id just start using the kaos image now as ive been using the dw 2.1 but just keep putting it off , ive been messing round with it all evening and im doing my nut im just getting so frustrated ,could someone please help me and give me a complete idiots guide to what i need to do pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease ,ive got the keys for it and the scce folder etc i even know how to ftp now with flash fxp ,but im still getting no where ive ftp to the box both contents of folders keys and scce to the corresponding folders on dreambox reeboot and nothing happens ive rebooted restarted cam and tried leaving on xxx sports 1 for 15 minutes but still nothing am i doing something wrong

You will need to manually enter the keys in because they don't auto update now.

Get the keymaster app from this thread and the keys are in there.

Edit the /var/keys/Keylist.txt file with the new keys and it should work.

I have a DM500c on DW2.1 and it just updated itself 10 mins agao?

i was using dw 2.1 too do you think i should have just been patient then would it have auto updated? how long did yours take ?

thanks devilfish i tried to enter the keys manualy and im not have much luck with that either i know im a pain in the ass but would you just talk me through it please very very slowly , start form reflashing with the kaos image , iknow everything is in the forums but im obviously pieceing the wrong info together
